Keith Wheeler received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as his law degree from Baylor University in 1985 and now has been practicing law for over 34 years. Keith has represented individuals and companies in a vast number of counties across the State of Texas. However, his primary areas of practice have been and continue to be in the North and East Texas areas including Rockwall, Dallas, Kaufman, Collin, Hunt and Wood Counties. Keith is an experienced and successful Mediator and is qualified to mediate cases in all areas of law.

Keith and his wife Tina live in Rockwall County and attend The First Baptist Church of Rockwall. Keith believes his commitment as a Christian is an integral part of being a successful attorney. Further, because of his long-standing presence and involvement in this community, he has an excellent rapport with the city and county officials thereby enabling him to effectively represent his clients.

Keith is a second-generation lawyer. His father, James P. Wheeler is also an attorney who was licensed to practice in 1967. He practices in Wood County, Texas, and mediates many cases in the Rockwall County area. Keith is a member of the American Bar Association, Rockwall County Bar Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Dallas County Bar Association, Dallas County Criminal Defense Association and Rockwall County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Keith has extensive trial experience in the representation of those accused of criminal activity as well as both plaintiffs and defendants in various areas of civil law. His practice areas include criminal, business/corporate (entity creation, corporation, limited liability companies and partnerships), family law, wills, probate, and real estate law.
