Keith Wheeler
Keith Wheeler received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as his law degree from Baylor University in 1985 and has now been practicing law for over 24 years. He has practiced in many different counties within the State of Texas. However, his primary areas of practice have been and continue to be in the North and East Texas areas including Rockwall, Dallas, Kaufman, Collin, Hunt and Wood Counties. Keith is an experienced and successful Mediator and is qualified to mediate cases in all areas of laws.
Keith and his wife, Tina, and their two children, Matt & Sarah, live in Rockwall and attend Lake Pointe Church. Keith believes his commitment as a Christian is an integral part of being a successful attorney. Further, because of his long-standing presence and involvement in this community, he has an excellent repoire with the officials of this county thereby enabling him to effectively represent his clients.
Keith is a second-generation lawyer. His father, James P. Wheeler, is also an attorney who was licensed to practice in 1967. He practices in Wood County, Texas, and additionally mediates many cases here in Rockwall County. Keith's brother, James Patrick Wheeler, is the District Attorney of Wood County.
Keith has extensive trial experience in the representation of those accused of criminal activity as well as both plaintiffs and defendants in many various areas of civil law. His primary areas of practice include criminal defense, business law, corporate (including the creation of corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships), personal injury, family law and real estate law. Amy Stacy
Amy Stacy is the Paralegal for our firm. She earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Legal Studies from Collin County Community College in 2006 where she graduated Cum Laude and was on the dean's list. She is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Amy earned her Certified Paralegal (CP) credentials in March 2007 through the National Association of Legal Assistants. She has worked as a paralegal in the Dallas/Rockwall area since graduation which compliments her extensive prior work history. Amy assists Mr. Wheeler in various aspects of each case including communication with clients when he is unavailable, the drafting of documents and court pleadings as well as the preparation of each case for trial. Marlene Cruce
Marlene Cruce is the Legal Secretary/Assistant to Keith Wheeler. She has been in the law business for over 50 years and is familiar with a wide array of legal issues. Her late husband, B.W. Cruce, was an attorney who practiced in Mesquite, Texas. Her knowledge and many years of experience offer very competent support to our clients.
